Sarah hails from the East Coast where she managed workforce development programs serving primarily underserved communities of color. She has extensive experience developing instructional programs in U.S. Citizenship preparation, English as a Second Language (ESL), adult digital literacy, and STEM for youth. As a founding member of Zero Carbon Virginia, a clean energy advocacy organization, Sarah provided policy support to state legislators on bills aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. She holds a Bachelors in Economics and Art History from Cornell University and a Masters in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. Sarah enjoys hiking, making muesli, being part of the clean energy transformation, and exploring new music with her husband and sons.
